Peter Jackson and "District 9" take the tops this week with last weeks #1, "GI Joe"moving down one notch. "Harry Potter" edges closer to the $300 million mark this week.

For a movie that has taken a lot of flack from critics, G.I. Joe has found its way at the top this week!!! G.I. Joe crushed the competition this week and beat out the second place entry, Julie and Julia, by over $36 million. Last weeks numero uno, Funny People, fell to number 5. Transformers and Ice Age fell out of the top ten.

"Transformers" hangs in there at #10 but will probably see its summer hold on a top 10 spot fall when "GI Joe" premiers this coming week....See ya at the movies!!!
