Your wife doesn't understand you:Humor

One thing my wife and I dont see eye to eye on is "what is funny?". Men and women have a diffrence on what they think is funny and what isn't. I have to say I LOVE the show "Workaholics" on Comedy Central.It is one of the funniest thing I have seen on TV in the past year or so.I am always quoting onliners from the show to my wife and she just rolls her eyes at me. This, by the way, makes me want to quote it even more. One day last week I kept telling her that everything was "tight butthole" and "loose butthole". Needless to say she didnt find it funny...but I did!!! I was cracking myself up. And thats my point...it makes me happy to laugh at stupid stuff. With all the crap going on around the world, isnt it nice to sit and laugh? My wife just doesn't get it!!

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Title Revealed!!

The newest "Pirates" movie has been revealed-"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides".
So whats the movie going to be about?? Its unknown yet BUT speculation is that its going to be about Captian Jack's (Johnny Depp) quest for the infamous Fountain of Youth...but your guess is as good as mine.

Random Thoughts and News

-District 9" Director Neill Blomkamp says the studio is certainly interested in a sequel or a prequel.
-Resident Evil Prequel in the works.Its tentatively titled "Resident Evil Begins", the story essentially sounds like a remake (rather than a reimagining) of the first film with a special military unit fighting a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident. This is thought to be released only after the upcoming forth instalment of the series,"Resident Evil: Afterlife".
-"The Hobbit" is a GO!! The Tolkien Trust, New Line Cinema and HarperCollins Publishers Ltd. have resolved the lawsuit regarding "The Lord of the Rings" films that was filed in February last year.

Why Your Wife Doesn't Understand You: DVD Collection

I am starting a new weekly post "Why Your Wife Doesn't Understand You" where we delve into things that make your wives or girlfriends crazy trying to understand why you do the things you do.

This weeks subject is your huge DVD collection!!
Does your wife bitch about your thousands of DVDs? Does she yell at you for coming back from BEST BUY with a bag of DVDs? Does she not let you display your DVDs in the entertainment center or anywhere in the living room? Well, I know how you feel! My fiance and i were recently talking about moving out and she told me that there is no way that I will be displaying my DVDs in the living room. She told me I could put them in a cabinet or something that will keep them out of sight. Doesn't she know that I have spent years (and lots of money) to build up this library of movies? Does she understand the pride a man gets in showing off? Does she think that I love my DVDs more then her? She just doesn't get it.

Let me explain it to her and all other women...Men love movies. We love blood and guts. We love bullets and babes. We also love display our collections. We take pride in it, whether its DVDs, books, NASCAR, MLB, Or NFL merchandise and autographs, Etc. We like to show it of to other men. We love to say "mine is bigger then yours". Men love to compete against another men. Lastly, its not the you man love his DVD collection more then you, its a different love. I am not gonna marry my DVD collection...that would be weird, right? Well maybe..you think I could? Ok ok I'm kidding..yeah kidding...anyways..we love you more then our collections. Don't worry :)

So I hope I have shed a little light on why your man does what he does. I hope when he brings home a new DVD you will sit down and watch it with him. Maybe you will even let him display them in the living room?? Please?
