When I first heard the live report that Michael Jackson had passed away I found myself surprisingly shocked and saddened by the news. I never knew how much of a part of my childhood he and his music were. Michael crossed over every race, culture, sex, and age. EVERYONE was listening to his records and tapes or watching his music videos. His music is timeless. No matter what you migh think of him as a person, you cant deny that when you hear songs like THRILLER, BEAT IT, BILLIE JEAN, or BAD you get that little spark of energy in your soul and you start tapping your feat or even start dancing in your seat. His music had a spirit and unique soul. He set the foundation for other artists of our time and gave inspiration to millions. All other artist to follow stand in his shadow. There will never ever be another Michael Jackson. We will miss him but we will always have his music as your memorial.
