Many names have been thrown out there for Bilbo, the key role in the upcoming "The Hobbit" films. Many actors from James McAvoy to Ewan McGregor. I would definitely have to throw my vote out there for James McAvoy (Wanted and The Last King of Scotland). Its his role as Tumnus from the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe that really nails it for me. He can play that timid yet strong character which is essential for the role of Bilbo.
Reports say that MAYBE Peter Jackson will make the announcement at this July's Comic-con. Production is supposed to start this fall in New Zealand.
